Booster Club Who's Who
Have a question?   Who you gonna call?     BAND BOOSTERS!
Band members and parents alike are not always sure with whom they should talk when they have a question or an issue arises This page hopes to answer that question by outlining band protocol and the chain of command Following band protocol is very important to keep the band running smoothly. Marching band season is intense, emotions run high,  students, parents and staff alike are often running on adrenaline! Remember 1) it's always better to address issues privately, 2) feelings often change with a good night's sleep, 3) follow the chain of command, and 4) we are a team!

Band Members: If a band member has a question or problem, she/he should speak first to their section leader. If the section leader doesn't know the answer, or cannot resolve the issue, then the band member should talk to one of the drum majors. If the issue cannot be handled by the drum major, then the band member should talk to their instructor. If the instructor cannot resolve the issue, then the band member should address the problem with the Band Director.  Of course there are times when instructors aren't available, etc. and it's okay to ask the Band Director, but in most cases, students should make reasonable efforts to follow the chain of command.

Band Parents: If a  band parent has a question or problem, she/he should speak first to the committee chairperson, or if there isn't one, the board member in charge of that area (as follows), or if that board member isn't available, to any board member.
